Special Scholarship
International Scholarship of Bachelor Program in Chemical Engineering
I. About
ISBCE
ISBCE consists of 15 full
scholarships and 10 partial scholarships to support the international students
who study in School of Chemical Engineering and Technology.
The full
scholarship (RMB48, 800 in 2017) provides:
· Tuition fees for four years for
a bachelor’s degree (RMB20,000/year)
· Part of living allowance for four
years (RMB2,400/month)
The partial scholarship (RMB36, 800 in 2017)
provides:
· Tuition fees for four years for a bachelor’s degree
(RMB20,000/year)
· Part of living allowance for four years
(RMB1,400/month)
II. Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship will be available to those applicants who:
Must be Non-Chinese citizens in good health at the time of application;
Must be high school graduates with good academic standing, and be over the age of 18 and under 35.
III. Application Materials
The applicants must fill in and submit the following application materials:
1. Application Form for Foreigners Wishing to Study at Tianjin University ( click here to download the form) and Application Form for Tianjin Government Scholarship for International Student(Chemical Engineering) (click here to download the form)filled in Chinese or English by typing, pasted with a recent photo ;
2. Notarized certificate of the highest diploma. If applicants are university students, they must provide an official pre-graduation certificate showing their student status and stating expected graduation date, the original certificate should be provided after admission. If the applicants are employed, they must also provide proof of employment on application. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English（original one and a copy）;
3. Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;
4. Photocopy of passport;
5. Applicants who want to join in the programs taught in Chinese must submit HSK certificate. (a minimum requirement of HSK 4 Score 180 or above) ;
Applicants who want to join in the programs taught in English must submit the certificate of TOEFL (Score 80 or above), or IELTS (Score 6.0 or above) or pass the English Language Test held by TJU;
6. Certificate of Non-Criminal Records.
Note: All documents should be bound together on top left corner in the order of 1 to 6. (You should submit TWO sets of bound documents.) No application documents will be returned regardless of the result of application.
IV. Application Procedures
· Complete the Application Form for Foreigners of Studying at TJU and Application Form for TJU International Students Scholarship (Chemical Engineering)；
· Mail the application forms and all other application materials(one original and one copy ) to the International Admissions office, Tianjin University by the 30th June 2017；
· Tianjin University reviews the application with final list of successful candidates to be released by the end of July 2017；
· Letter of Admission and JW202 will be sent to the applicants；
· Register at Tianjin University according to the date on the letter of admission.

International Scholarship of Master Program in Chemical Engineering
As ranked No. 1 in the National Discipline Assessment by the Ministry of Education, Chemical Engineering of Tianjin University offers quality master program in either English or Chinese with scholarships for international students.
I. About ISMCE
The full scholarship (Around RMB58,000 per year) provides:

The partial scholarship (Around RMB46,000 per year) provides:
Tuition fees
Part of living allowance
II. Conditions and Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship will be available to those applicants who:
Must be Non-Chinese citizens in good health at the time of application;
Must have graduated with a bachelor degree , and under the age of 40.
III. Application Materials
The applicants must fill in and submit the following application materials:
1. International Scholarship of Bachelor’s Program in Environment and Energy
As the “key and special major” and “excellent engineer major” established by the Ministry of Education, Environment and Energy of Tianjin University offers quality bachelor’s program in English with scholarships for international students.
About ISBEE
ISBEE consists of 10 full scholarships and 10 partial scholarships.
The full scholarship provides:

· An annual living allowance (RMB25,000 in 2017) for four years
The partial scholarship provides:
· Tuition fees for four years
Conditions and Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship will be available to those applicants who:
· Non-Chinese citizens in good health at application;
· less than 35 years old at application;
· English proficiency certificate will be required (TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0 or pass through an interview by TJU);
· Candidates are required to enroll in Tianjin University as ‘international students’ and must maintain this status for the duration of their enrolment in the University;
§ Scholarships holders must commence study in Tianjin University in the semester the scholarship is offered.

2017 ISSCE International Scholarship in School of Civil Engineering,Tianjin University (Master's Program)
The school of Civil Engineering includes two national key disciplines and emphasizes the practical exploration. We offer master's program in either English or Chinese with scholarships for international students. The fields of Master include: Building and Civil Engineering Program, Hydraulic Engineering Program, Naval and Ocean Engineering Program.
About ISSCE
ISSCE is offered to support the international students who study in School of Civil Engineering.
The scholarship (RMB2400 per month) provides: Living allowance for 2 years
Conditions and Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship will be available to those applicants who:
Non-Chinese citizens in good health at the time of application;
Applicants must have graduated with a bachelor degree, and be under the age of 45;
For the program with Chinese as the language of instruction, HSK certificate level 4 of no less than 180 scores will be required;
For the program with English as the language of instruction, English proficiency certificate will be required(TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0 or pass through an interview by TJU).

2.Mail the application forms and all other application materials(one original and one copy)to the International Admissions Office, Tianjin University by the 30th June,2017.
3.Tianjin University reviews the application with final list of successful candidates to be released by 15th July,2017.
4.Letter of Admission and JW202 will be sent to the applicants.
5.Register at Tianjin University in early September,2017.
